Texas CCFA to hold first 2012 Cervical Cancer Summit on January 31

As a stakeholder in the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer, you are invited to Houston’s first
2012 Cervical Cancer Summit Together, we can affect great cervical cancer change.

The goal of the Summit is to reduce the incidence and mortality rates of cervical cancer in Houston and the surrounding area. The summit will bring together university and school-based nurses, health professionals from community clinics and academic settings, and local community and political leaders to discuss cervical cancer prevention and treatment; review evidence-based practices; Identify barriers and resources to help underserved and uninsured women receive needed diagnostic services and/or treatment for cervical cancer as well as help establish a medical home; and to establish a navigation system for women needing an HPV / PAP / cervical cancer triage in the greater Houston area.  For more information and the agenda click here.
