In May 2013, over 30 international partner organizations met in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as part of the Global Forum on Cervical Cancer Prevention. The goals of the meeting were to encourage further support for the uptake of HPV vaccines, cervical cancer prevention and treatment programs and screening tools. Before and during the meeting, over 400 individuals and organizations signed the global call for universal access to cervical cancer prevention and spent the rest of the meeting discussing five key ways in which to make this call a reality (discussed in the meeting report).
